Archaeological Controversy, AI Predictions and Advancements in CogSci…
Good morning and very warm welcome back to reality,
In the blink of an eye, the ‘most wonderful time of year’ (debatable) has been and gone and, as far as every teacher I’ve spoken to over the last week is concerned, we are right back into the thick of it. Whatever you are up to, we hope you’ve settled back in well and are ready to make 2024 a year to remember.
To get the newsletter ball rolling we’ve got some cracking recommendations for you covering everything from the root of an archaeology-twitter storm to what the immediate future of AI might have in store for us.

If you’re enjoying the Thinking Deeply about Primary Education podcast, it would mean the world to us if you left a review, wherever you listen, or added a comment on Spotify, YouTube, LinkedIn etc. Every post helps spread the word to a few more of our colleagues at a time.
That’s all for today. Remember to keep an eye out on Wednesday for our new subject specific recommendations, which we will use to explore and develop our understanding of the full breadth of the Primary National Curriculum.
This week the theme is computing - pedagogy, subject knowledge and implementation. I know you’re going to love it. (Well, I certainly hope so anyway)
As always, until next time, thanks for listening.
